Jumbo frames can not be set on 10-gigabit network port

Mac OS will not allow you to set jumbo or custom frame size on a 10-gigabit port, i.e.
it only allows 1500 bytes (standard frame).

This is an error in Mac OS and a bug has been filed but it has not yet been
fixed.

The workaround is to select the network port using the
System Preferences->Network
panel, then select Advanced, then Hardware.
Set the "Speed" to "autoselect" and then Mac OS
will allow you to set jumbo/custom frame sizes.
