Best method to delete an old "bond" and add a new one on Mac OS.

The safest way to rid yourself of an old network Bond (link aggregation) is to follow these steps:
  1. Use the System Preferences GUI, Network Preferences pane, locate the bond.
  2. Turn the bond off,  "Apply" change.
  3. Delete the bond and "Apply" change.
  4. Delete each interface that was part of the old, now deleted, bond, "Apply" changes.
  5. Reboot.
  6. After the reboot, re-enter the System Preferences GUI, Network Preferences pane and add each of the network interfaces back onto Mac OS, "Apply" changes.
  7. Create the new Bond, Link Aggregation using the GUI, "Apply" change.
  8. Now define IP address and other items for the new bond.
