Small Tree Standard Support
Small Tree Standard Support (ST-SS) is provided with all Small Tree products.
ST-SS provides a one-year hardware warranty and 30 days of phone/email support.
ST-SS is available 9AM to 5PM Central Time* (GMT-6) Monday through Friday.
Phone/email support provides installation assistance, troubleshooting and performance optimization of Small Tree products. Screen sharing programs, such as TeamViewer, are utilized to perform remote support.
The one-year hardware warranty is a “return to factory’ program. When a failure is suspected, contact Small Tree Technical Support. Technical Support will work with you to determine the cause of the problem. If it is determined to be a hardware failure, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) will be created. Instructions will be provided to ship the suspect part(s) to Small Tree.
Note: Before you deliver your product for warranty service it is your responsibility to keep a separate backup copy of the system software, application software and data, and disable any security passwords. You will be responsible for reinstalling all such software, data and passwords. Data recovery is not included in the warranty service and Small Tree is not responsible for data that may be lost or damaged during transit or a repair.
When the failed part has been received, Technical Support will verify the failure and ship the replacement part via UPS Ground. Optional expedited UPS shipping is available at additional cost.
The replacement part assumes the remaining hardware warranty period of the original part or 90 days from shipment of the replacement part, whichever provides longer coverage.
Small Tree provides 30 days of phone support from the date the replacement parts ship to ensure that the Small Tree products are once again fully functional.
ST-SS is suspended if non-Small Tree supplied hardware components are substituted for Small Tree supplied hardware components.
