More Information on Fibre Channel-Based Shared Storage
Fibre channel is a fast but relatively expensive system for transferring information between different devices in a
shared network. It requires special fiber-optic cabling instead of common Category-5
Ethernet cable. Since most networks are already using
Ethernet cabling, implementing fibre channel is a large investment for most companies. The alternative to fibre channel shared storage is a properly designed

Small Tree focuses on providing the performance companies need from their networks without the need for fibre channel. Small Tree carefully analyzes a company's network performance requirements to deliver
