The Small Tree PXG6SFP server card allows you to expand the network connectivity of your Power Mac G5 with 1.8 GHz or faster CPUs and Xserve G5 systems. It provides the additional benefit of providing both optical or copper Gigabit Ethernet ports from a single PCI-X slot in the system. The PXG6SFP card provides the ability to significantly increase your network bandwidth from your system, enabling you to support larger projects effortlessly. The PXG6SFP will support your mixed network configurations effortlessly, while providing increased performance on large transfers with jumbo frame support. The PEG6SFP Gigabit Ethernet ports support OS X's built-in link aggregation software in combination with the internal Gigabit Ethernet port of the system. The PXG6SFP card will transparently load balance all linked ports and seamlessly fail over if one or more ports of cables become disabled. Must be using OS X 10.5.8.  This Product is NOT compatible with Intel Xserve System.
