When you have Pro Logic running, it becomes the master system that controls the tempo for all attached systems. Any system or piece of peripheral equipment hooked into Pro Tools is synced to the tempo and BMP settings of Pro Tools, and follows the settings that Pro Tools has established. You can set the master Word Clock in Pro Tools and attached systems should sync to that word clock setting. However, there may be an occasional problem with syncing the tempo from Pro Tools to your other systems. If you are using Pro Tools in conjunction with another Digital Audio Workstation platform, there is a possibility that the word clock isn't syncing properly between systems, and would need to be adjusted.

Like most of Digidesign's Pro Logic programs, any sort of major problem should be precipitated by an error message. Be sure to notate the error code number, as well as the error message, and find the error using Digidesign's Answerbase.
