Optimizing Final Cut Pro Latency
Poor latency can result in problems ranging anywhere from poor editing speeds to actual loss of your data. Slow transfers and communications are often due to poorly configured networks, but spyware and some computer software can also reduce performance.
The best method for reducing sluggish transfers is properly implementing Gb or 10 Gb Ethernet into your network. It's relatively easy to set up an Ethernet network, but configuring it to run at the proper latency and bandwidth levels is extremely important.
At Small Tree, we excel at optimizing networks. Our drivers can be tuned to favor latency over bandwidth or vice-versa. We have the expertise to set your network up so applications like Final Cut Pro run at their maximum potential. We ensure that dropped frames and other latency problems are a thing of the past.
