This is a 850nm shortwave fiber optic SFP transceiver.  This Triple Rate device is compliant to both 1 G ethernet and 1, 2 G fiber channel specifications.  This product features a VCSEL laser, metal bail latch release, and LC connector.  This devices also features extended voltage, temperature performance along with digital diagnostics management capabilties.  This is the recommended ROHS compliant alternative to the popular PL-XPL-VC-S23-11 used often in QLogic.

This Picolight OEM original 1G/2G auto-sensing small form factor pluggable (SFP) transceiver is a hot-swappable optical interface device that plugs into a high speed data port, linking the switch port to the network with a 550m reach over multi-mode fiber. The Picolight 1G/2G auto-sensing SFP connects a Fiber Channel port to multi-mode optical fiber via a duplex LC type connector.
