Small Tree's approach to each of its shared storage solutions for Mac OS X is two-fold: use Ethernet connectivity to simplify the storage infrastructure, and provide a shared storage solution that allows real time editing at an affordable price. We call our shared storage solutions GraniteSTOR.

The GrainteSTOR family of shared storage solutions are designed to meet the real-time editing requirements of Final Cut Pro users, address audio recording requirements for Pro Tools users, and provide near-line archive and backup for all users.
