More Information on File Sharing

Sharing files or resources across a local network, or even an enterprise intranet, allows multiple users to retrieve the same files from their central location. It also provides simple and easy solutions to transfer project files, image files, audio files, or video files in the world of the creative professional. To maximize and streamline your file sharing system and network, consider the amount of bandwidth you need to adequately transfer files, and the network cards and switches needed to facilitate that bandwidth. File sharing works well on conventional Gigabit ethernet connections, but a faster connection such as a 10GbE card would be able to handle more information.

Small Tree Communications knows that in the professional creative world, there is a large need for adequate Photoshop, audio tracks from Pro Tools, and video clips from Final Cut Pro than it would be from most any other form of distribution. We want to make sure that you are able to share your projects with your clients quickly and easily, and that everything is able to work, be stored, and be shared with minimal interruption.

Experience file sharing at its best with our inexpensive shared storage solutions, networking switches and networking cards.
