The Small Tree PXG2SFP server card allows you to expand the network connectivity of your Power Mac G4, Power Mac G5, Xserve G4 or Xserve G5 system. It provides the additional benefit of providing both optical or copper Gigabit Ethernet ports from a single PCI-X slot in the system. The PXG2SFP will support your mixed network configurations effortlessly, while providing increased performance on large transfers with jumbo frames support. The PXG2SFP Gigabit Ethernet ports will support OS X's built-in link aggregation software in combination with the internal Gigabit Ethernet ports of the system. The PXG2SFP card provides increased network bandwidth, will transparently load balancing all linked ports and seamlessly fail over if one or more ports of cables become disabled. Must be using OS X 10.5.8. This Product is NOT compatible with Intel Xserve System.
