The Small Tree PEG2F card provides two optical Gigabit Ethernet ports allowing you to connect to optical networks from your Intel Mac system. The PEG2F supports jumbo frames which provides an immediate performance increase on large transfers. The PEG2F Gigabit Ethernet ports will support OS X's built-in link aggregation software in conjunction with the internal Gigabit Ethernet ports of the system. The PEG2F will operate transparently with non optical Gigabit Ethernet ports ensuring that no application changes are required. The optical output of the PEG2F will support standard Gigabit Ethernet connections of up to 550 meters. Must be using OS X 10.4.11 or later.
