The Foundry GS Series switches are managed switches. They support jumbo frames, 802.3ad link aggregation, VLANs, optical connections, Power over Ethernet (for IP phones) and 10Gb upgrades. They also come standard with redundant power and have an MTBF well over 200,000 hours (much much higher than what you'll find in Netgear, Dlink or other cheap switches).
